Job Description

At Chick-fil-A Franklin a member of our Leadership team is someone who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. Our Shift Supports are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of what makes Chick-fil-A great, our service and guest experience. A Shift Support's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Supports lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. Candidates have the opportunity to progress towards their area of strength and career interest while working in Operations. These can include Human Resources (Talent), Training, Inventory, Community Outreach/Marketing, Customer Experience, Food Safety, Facilities, and/or Hospitality.
Position Type:
Full-time and Part-time This position is available in both the front of house and back of house areas in the restaurant.
Full-time availability:
Monday
  • Saturday availability (work schedule would be 4-5 days/week) Preferred daytime availability 5:30am
  • 5:00pm Nighttime availability 11:00am
  • 11:00pm or 2:00pm
  • 11:00pm Part-time availability: Minimum Friday and Saturday availability required

Shift Support Responsibilities:
Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team Be a friendly, encouraging team player Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder Count drawers and finalize day (Front of House Only) Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Monitor product quality to ensure that guests receive the best product through each and every transaction Ensure Operational Excellence in a Food Safe Environment Preserve a safe work environment by ensuring that all Team Members are informed of and respecting the Employee Health Policy Optimize guest experiences by ensuring that speed and accuracy are held in high regard without rushing guests
Qualifications and Requirements:
Prior experience working in high-volume, fast-paced, guest-focused environment is not required but is preferred Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members Strong commitment to superior customer service Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Ability to effectively delegate and communicate tasks to team High level of ownership displayed in ensuring things are done the right way Be optimistic! Encourage your team and build them up!
