Duties Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing products, and maintaining attractive displays through merchandising techniques Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales Maintain clean and organized checkout areas while practicing professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Support inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing items as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, guiding shoppers through store aisles, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer interactions Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations Demonstrated ability to perform stocking duties efficiently and accurately Experience with cashiering systems (POS) and cash handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued for growth opportunities This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise while making meaningful connections with customers.
