Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently and safely Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, and car accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain clean and organized fuel pumps, store shelves, and checkout areas through stocking and merchandising Conduct product demos when applicable to promote new items or special offers Enforce phone etiquette standards when answering customer inquiries via phone or in person Manage inventory levels, monitor stock supplies, and notify management of low inventory or product needs Ensure compliance with safety procedures and store policies at all times Requirements Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in both English and bilingual settings if applicable Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for team coordination roles Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to multitask effectively in a busy retail environment such as grocery stores or convenience stores Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and retail sales practices is advantageous Good phone etiquette and clear communication skills for customer interactions both in person and over the phone This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise while delivering top-notch service.
