Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, assisting with product questions and providing product demos when needed Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking registers and merchandising products for easy access Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store sales Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented and labeled correctly Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills with the ability to assist bilingual customers effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating totals quickly Experience with POS systems or familiarity with retail math concepts is advantageous Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in advancing into leadership roles Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and merchandising Join us to deliver outstanding service in a lively retail environment where your contributions make a real difference!
