Cage Cashier The Nash Casino - 1.0 Nashua, NH Job Details $17 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Handling large sums of money High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Essential Job Responsibilities Process guest and company financial transactions accurately, following all regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain assigned bank balance and safeguard cage assets at all times. Conduct transaction verifications to prevent discrepancies and ensure procedural compliance. Perform currency exchanges, voucher redemptions, and other cash transactions with precision and attention to detail. Assist guests with inquiries and provide information on property promotions and events. Communicate operational details, issues, and updates clearly to Cage management each shift. Report machine, equipment, or software malfunctions immediately to Cage leadership. Promptly notify management of any discrepancies, questionable activity, or irregularities. Provide training and support to other Team Members when requested by Cage management. Ensure full compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, company policies, and cash‑handling procedures. Uphold key control policies and maintain strict adherence to security measures. Provide BIG Service by engaging guests in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, accuracy, and reliability during all interactions. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of cash‑handling or related experience required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must successfully pass all required pre‑screening and background checks. Internal candidates must have at least six months in current role and meet all Transfer & Promotion Policy requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license. Ability to work in environments with loud noise, guest chatter, overhead music, live entertainment, and where smoking is permitted. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and respond to visual and auditory cues. Requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and numbers.
