As a cashier, you will be the final point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience while accurately processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming checkout experience Accurately scan and process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments responsibly Answer customer questions about products, including organic and locally sourced items Assist with bagging groceries while following proper handling of fresh and delicate items Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area Verify product codes for bulk items and produce Support store operations by restocking shelves or assisting other departments as needed Follow all store policies, including those related to food safety and sustainability practices

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math skills and attention to detail Interest in organic food, health, and environmentally conscious products Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude Eligible candidates are 18 or over

Physical Requirements:
