Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier / Cafe Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with guests, enjoys working in a community-focused environment, and takes pride in the appearance of the cafe. This role includes handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the cafe is clean and well-stocked.

Job ResponsibilitiesGreet and engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude. Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and handle cash, credit, and other transactions. Refill food stations, paper goods, and other supplies as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including tables, counters, and service areas. Ensure all food handling complies with kosher standards and community guidelines. Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless, enjoyable guest experience. Assist with inventory tracking and communicate supply needs to management.
Additional Technical Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, cashier, or cafe role preferred. Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse guests. Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Knowledge of kosher food standards is a plus, but training can be provided
