Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products, ensuring accurate placement, and maintaining attractive displays Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately during retail transactions Handle cash drawer operations with precision, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end Assist customers with product questions, provide product demos when applicable, and promote upselling opportunities to increase sales Maintain a clean, organized store environment by merchandising products and managing inventory levels Support supervising staff during busy periods, including supervising stockroom activities and ensuring safety protocols are followed Skills Previous experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions is highly desirable Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual settings to serve diverse customers effectively Proven ability to handle cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling accurately Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage customers through friendly interaction and product knowledge Experience in stocking, merchandising, and product demos within grocery or retail environments preferred Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and grocery store operations enhances performance Excellent phone etiquette, basic math skills, and the ability to upsell products confidently are essential for success in this role This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and want a lot of hours.
