Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and assisting with product inquiries Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Upsell products and promote store specials or promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Conduct product demos when appropriate to educate customers about features and benefits Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory counts Assist in maintaining a clean, organized checkout area to ensure a positive shopping environment Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are a plus Experience supervising or leading team members is beneficial for growth opportunities Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail merchandising practices is helpful Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
