Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier / Takeout Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant for all takeout and phone-in customers. You will handle the entire takeout process—from answering phone calls and taking accurate orders to securely packaging food and processing final payments. Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Answer incoming phone calls warmly, answer menu questions, and take accurate phone orders.

Order Packaging:

Double-check every order for accuracy, pack food securely in bags, and ensure all necessary utensils, condiments, and sides are included.

Payment Processing:

Greet walk-in customers, operate the Point of Sale (POS) register, and process cash and card payments accurately.

Area Maintenance:

Keep the takeout counter, phone station, and packaging supplies clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cashier, counter server, or host is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient phone demeanor. Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy lunch and dinner rushes. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
