Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product questions and offering product demos when appropriate Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking retail area with necessary supplies Engage in upselling techniques to promote store merchandise and increase sales opportunities Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and displays Support stock replenishment by stocking shelves and managing inventory levels throughout the store Experience Previous cashier or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team members or shifts Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members professionally Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Experience conducting product demos and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
