A Cashier handles monetary transactions with customers. Takes customer payment for a product or service, provides change as needed and receipts for transactions. Provides accurate accounting of cash register funds, and provides customer service.
This role is responsible for completing various functions that support the day-to-day operation of the store. The role includes, ensuring the finest wines/other products are available for customers throughout the day, promoting store sales by offering customers' product recommendations and providing incredible customer service that meets or exceeds the store standards. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and represent our values every day. Accurately process customer transactions and payments. Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to maintain a well-stocked, attractive store. Create displays that highlight products, seasonal offerings, and promotions. Recommend wines and food pairings, answer product questions, and assist customers with purchases. Conduct wine tastings and follow all store and state regulations. Continuously build product knowledge to better serve customers. Follow safety procedures, company policies, and applicable laws. Support overall store operations and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or a wine-related setting. Passion for wine and helping customers find the right product. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Note to

$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
