Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Conduct product demos when applicable to highlight features and benefits to customers Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support supervising team members during busy periods and contribute to a collaborative team environment Qualifications Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering responsibilities in a retail or grocery store setting Prior supervising experience is preferred but not required; leadership skills are a plus Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups are highly desirable Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interactions and active listening Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and customer service best practices Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication when needed Join us as a Front End Cashier and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
