Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and checkout procedures Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Support store operations through inventory management, stocking, and ensuring the sales floor remains inviting and organized Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Familiarity with POS systems and retail math concepts for accurate transactions Experience supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not required Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and customer service best practices Join our team to deliver outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
