Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. This role involves interacting with customers, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen equipment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Experience in food preparation and handling is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
