Responsibilities Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions swiftly and accurately Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate cash records Provide friendly and professional customer service by answering questions, assisting with product location, and offering product demos when appropriate Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales opportunities Maintain store merchandising standards by arranging products attractively and restocking as needed Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and reporting low stock levels to supervisors Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing stockroom activities or leading a team during shifts Bilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and basic cash register operations is advantageous Strong communication skills are essential for delivering excellent customer service and collaborating with team members Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques will support success in this role Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your skills in a fast-paced retail environment!
