Full Job Description Purpose:
This position is responsible for recording all transactions (cash or credit) for Performance Bars during shows at any of the Company's venues. Position works closely with Dayton Live volunteers to ensure efficient and timely sales of food and beverage to our patrons.
Essential Duties:
Ensure that patrons are being serviced quickly, accurately and politely. Responsible for knowing the performance bar menu items and the functionality of the Toast POS system, as it relates to these items. Inspects bar at beginning of shift to ensure all products are available, including ice; that the bar is clean; and that the Toast POS system is setup and functioning properly. Provide direction and assistance to volunteer bar tenders, in order that the bar is running efficiently to maximize sales. Communicate with Barback/Manager to ensure that the bar does not runout of product during performance. Must demonstrate excellent accuracy, timeliness and dependability. Must keep a professional appearance. Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)-Preferred Must be 21 years of age or older Experience with Point-of-Sale System (Toast preferred) Food and beverage industry experience is a plus Must conduct duties in a positive, professional manner and maintain customer service initiatives. Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personalities.
