Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions efficiently. The primary focus of this position is selling truck parts, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for automotive parts. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating the truck parts they need. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit, and debit payments securely and efficiently. Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding different truck parts to help customers make informed decisions. Maintain an organized checkout area and ensure all displays are tidy and well-stocked. Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, and availability. Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth store operations. Keep track of inventory levels related to sales transactions and report discrepancies or low stock to management. Follow all safety procedures and company policies during daily operations. Requirements Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Basic math skills for processing payments and giving correct change. Interest or knowledge in truck parts or automotive industry is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings. Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
