Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere by efficiently handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the overall food service experience. With your culinary knowledge and POS (Point of Sale) expertise, you'll ensure smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment that values energy, accuracy, and teamwork. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in a lively, engaging manner Operate POS systems Clover POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and attention to detail Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and sanitation practices Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food service zones by bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality service Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus but not required Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly Previous restaurant or retail experience involving serving or cashiering is advantageous Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your enthusiasm makes every guest's visit memorable!
