In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing inventory and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your ability to handle transactions accurately and assist with stocking shelves will be crucial in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Operate the cash register, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving any issues. Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring that products are displayed neatly and are easily accessible. Manage inventory levels, including checking stock, replenishing items, and conducting regular inventory counts. Maintain cleanliness in the store by regularly cleaning work areas, shelves, and displays. Assist in receiving deliveries, including heavy lifting of products as needed. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move stock around the store. Package products for customers when necessary, ensuring items are secure for transport. Qualifications Previous experience in a cashier or stocker role is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic knowledge of inventory management practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required. Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided. Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain an orderly store environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
