Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Stocker/Cashier, where you'll play a vital role in creating an inviting shopping environment for our customers. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for maintaining well-stocked shelves, ensuring accurate cash handling, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive sales, promote products through demos and upselling, and foster a positive shopping experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished regularly to maintain an appealing store presentation Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipt issuance Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product location or selection Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to promote featured items and enhance the customer's shopping experience Maintain proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels Assist with merchandising efforts to highlight promotions, seasonal displays, and new product arrivals Ensure compliance with safety standards and store policies during stocking and cashiering duties Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail skills.
