Job Description
Overview We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Sugar j's ice cream workshop in Corvallis as Ice Cream Scoopers. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fun and fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you. Duties
- Scoop and serve ice cream to customers with a smile
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with flavor choices and portion sizes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, and other treats according to customer preferences
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality of products
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed Requirements
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Previous experience in a restaurant, grocery store, or retail setting is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous
- Interest in the food industry and willingness to learn retail math concepts
