- Fast-paced, engaging work environment Position Summary The Grocery Retail Associate serves as the face of our store by providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with purchases, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment.
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist customers in locating products and answering questions
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately
- Process cash, credit card, and electronic payment transactions
- Promote current sales, specials, and featured products
- Assist with merchandising, product displays, and shelf stocking
- Rotate inventory and maintain organized product presentation
- Keep sales floor, checkout areas, and stockroom clean and organized
- Answer customer phone calls and provide accurate information
- Support inventory management and restocking efforts
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
- Help create a positive shopping experience for every customer Qualifications
- Previous retail, grocery, cashier, customer service, or sales experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable operating a cash register and POS system
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds
