HawkShop Cashier Federal Work-Study Eligible!

Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer Love Coffee, People, and Campus Life? Looking for a fun, fast-paced campus job where every shift is a little different? Join the HawkShop team! As a HawkShop Cashier , you'll be one of the friendly faces that welcomes students, employees, and visitors to the campus store. From ringing up purchases and making coffee drinks to stocking shelves and helping customers find what they need, you'll help create a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door. Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. Operate the cash register and accurately process purchases. Prepare coffee and specialty beverages. Stock merchandise and keep displays organized and inviting. Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming bookstore. Answer questions and help customers find products. Assist with other bookstore duties as needed. Grow Your Skills Working in the HawkShop is a great way to build experience in: Customer service Retail operations Cash handling Communication Problem-solving Teamwork Time management Professional workplace skills
Required:
Currently enrolled at Umpqua Community College. In good academic and disciplinary standing.
Preferred:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT & FEDERAL WORK-STUDY
This position may be filled through either the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program or regular student employment, depending on student eligibility and available funding. Students hired through the Federal Work-Study Program must: Be eligible for and accept a Federal Work-Study award. Be enrolled in at least six (6) eligible credits each term. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Complete all required hiring paperwork and receive employment authorization before beginning work. Students who are not eligible for Federal Work-Study may still be considered for employment through regular student worker funding, if available.
