Temporary Event Staff - Ticket Takers & Bag Checkers Looking for a fun way to earn extra money this summer? BBSI is hiring dependable, customer-focused individuals to work as Ticket Takers and Bag Checkers to work at the Douglas County Fair. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can provide outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Details Pay:
$17.50 per hour

Douglas County Fairgrounds Employment Type:
Temporary/Event-Based Must be at least 18 years of age. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Scan or collect admission tickets. Check bags according to event procedures. Answer basic guest questions and provide directions when needed. Help maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment for all attendees. Report any concerns or incidents to your supervisor immediately. Professional Expectations All temporary staff are expected to: Arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled start time. Be ready to begin working at their scheduled start time. Treat guests, clients, coworkers, and venue staff with professionalism and respect Maintain a positive, helpful attitude throughout the event. Remain at assigned posts unless relieved or directed otherwise. Immediately notify a supervisor of any safety concerns, emergencies, or incidents. Refrain from using cell phones except during approved breaks or emergencies. Stay attentive, engaged, and focused throughout the shift. What We're Looking For Friendly and dependable individuals with excellent customer service skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Ability to work assigned shifts between August 5-8 . Why Join our Team?
