Cashier

Overview We are a Food truck that move from place to place (for example events, Breweries, and festivals). You have to be willing to move from Place to Place using Public transportation or it would be better if you have your own source of transportation. Do NOT apply if you are not willing to move from place to place. we are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for assisting customers in a retail environment. Duties handling cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and upsell products to enhance the customer shopping experience. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to support sales efforts. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accurate cash handling throughout shifts. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with cash registers. Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus. Ability to engage customers through upselling techniques and product knowledge. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
