Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring balanced cash registers at shift end Assist customers with product information, including conducting product demos when needed Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and following store standards Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently while adhering to store policies Collaborate with team members and supervise staff when necessary to ensure smooth operations Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering operations in a retail or grocery environment Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in both English and bilingual settings preferred Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash register operations Familiarity with grocery store procedures is a plus for those with grocery store experience Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and cash drawer handling with attention to detail Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable shopping experiences!
