Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Help to join our team at
PIOS PIZZERIA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cash handling, customer service, and working in a restaurant environment.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide information on specials
- Upsell additional items to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate when necessary
Skills:
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems, preferably TOAST
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer personalities
- Effective upselling techniques to increase revenue
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
