We're looking for confident, energetic, fast, and friendly attendants to work the gates as well as people to fill security and crowd control positions for this massive party. Duties Help set up gate area with tents and lighting ID every person entering through the gates to ensure they are at least 21 years of age or older. Place wristbands on patrons entering. May involve cash handling. Monitor water station and inform team lead when refills are needed. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to alcohol service regulations. Commit to breaking down tents and returning all equipment inside at the end of the event until finished. Experience Gate attendants may require basic math skills for cash handling. Gate attendants may require soft skills to help de-escalate any issues at the gate. Gate attendants must be aware of people entering and any issues that may arise. Gate attendants must be helpful to all patrons. Security should have some de-escalating skills. Past experience is helpful. Crowd control must be able to spot possible issues in the crowd and follow guidelines to help de-escalate. All positions should commit to helping break down at the end of the night and help return equipment inside the building which would be helpful. Must be able to move fast. Basic math skills for cash handling Stamina for all positions as some shifts run approximately 20 hours with a multiple hour break. Most gig positions for Pride weekend are one day only. Some Friday and Sunday positions may be available as well. These positions are outdoors, under a tent (except crowd control), rain or shine. Other positions available include environmental staff, bartenders, beer bar attendants, and barbacks. Breakdown crew positions also available Sunday June 21st (end of the party) Sunday morning 6/21 2am to approximately 8am Sunday.
