Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Accurately process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies and merchandising as needed. Answer customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Support stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and merchandising displays to keep the store inviting. Assist in product knowledge sharing and promote ongoing sales or promotions to maximize retail sales. Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners! Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone. Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving our diverse customer base. Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team efforts. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting.
