Duties Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash drawer with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise and promotions Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to maintain an attractive store environment Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product knowledge sharing Maintain clean and organized checkout areas while adhering to store policies on cashiering procedures Qualifications Previous experience with POS systems and cash register operations is preferred Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is a plus Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities Demonstrated ability in retail math for handling cash handling, sales calculations, and balancing registers Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and basic inventory management Ability to perform basic math accurately and handle cash drawer operations confidently Experience in retail sales transactions combined with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service Join us as a Cashier where your positive energy fuels our store's vibrant atmosphere!
