Duties Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision, maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Assist customers with inquiries using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and support merchandising efforts to keep the store visually appealing and well-stocked. Conduct retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments with confidence. Support the team by supervising new or less experienced cashiers when needed, fostering a collaborative environment. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued! Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings are highly desirable.
