Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism. Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and attractive store layout. Conduct product demos when needed to educate customers about new or featured items. Upsell products by recommending additional items that enhance the customer's shopping experience. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone. Support store operations through basic retail math, inventory management, and cashiering duties. Supervise or assist fellow team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery. Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively. Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks.
