Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Cashier to join our team. This position is a nonexempt sales position responsible for greeting and assisting customers in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. This position requires attention to detail and organizational skills that ensure prompt payment for prescriptions and store merchandise.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail & adhere to HIPPAA privacy rules Ability to answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner Ability to stand and walk around store Ability to handle stressful situations Knowledge of how to operate a cash register and make correct change Ability to keep work area clean, organized, and stocked Ability to offer friendly greetings and assistance to customers as they enter and exit the store Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing
