Stocker / Cashier

Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized, properly labeled, and replenished regularly to maintain an inviting store appearance Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cashiering transactions, including scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout area to promote safety and efficiency Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring promotional materials are current and attractive Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly via phone etiquette when needed and addressing customer needs promptly Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math is advantageous Bilingual skills are a plus to assist a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers and team members Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities within the store Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform stocking duties safely and efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management are necessary Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where customer satisfaction is our top priority!
