Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos when appropriate to highlight features and benefits to customers Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting Handle cash responsibly, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers or vendors over the phone Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environment Supervising experience preferred to support team members and ensure smooth store operations Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product placement strategies Experience conducting product demos and upselling to maximize sales potential Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with grocery store operations including stocking, inventory management, and retail sales processes Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Cashier and become an integral part of creating memorable shopping experiences!
