Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with confidence Manage retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in retail math calculations Provide product demos when needed to inform customers about features and benefits of merchandise Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store remains organized, attractive, and well-stocked Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Handle cash drawer balancing at the end of shifts and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and promotional plans Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
