Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional customer service and answering questions about products and store policies Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining visual appeal of the shop Manage inventory by receiving donations, tagging items, and ensuring proper stock placement Perform cashier duties including cash handling, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end Support the shop's daily operations by maintaining cleanliness, organizing merchandise, and assisting with stock replenishment Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in retail or grocery store settings Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and transactions Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse community members effectively Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and retail sales best practices Familiarity with basic math skills necessary for cashiering and inventory management Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise while making a positive impact in their community.
