Duties Process cash register transactions accurately using Toast POS system including sales, refunds, discounts, and voids Handle customer food orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely service during overnight hours Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food service operations Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines and performing regular cleaning duties Manage cash handling procedures meticulously, including processing cash transactions and balancing registers at shift end Support upselling efforts by engaging customers and promoting menu items to enhance sales performance Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills Familiarity with POS system Toast for efficient transaction processing Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and register balancing Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, positive attitude Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy overnight shifts Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and support food preparation when necessary Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus for understanding diverse customer needs This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional service around the clock.
