Responsibilities Operate cash registers and POS system Toast to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Assist customers with food service orders, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities while delivering excellent customer service Prepare simple food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, cash register stations, and kitchen equipment Operate kitchen equipment safely for basic food preparation tasks in compliance with health regulations Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly to ensure quality and safety during all stages of service Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS system Toast is advantageous Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices within the food industry Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during overnight shifts Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling and customer engagement is a plus Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Prior cashiering or cashier experience in grocery stores or cafes is beneficial Join us as an Overnight Cashier and become an essential part of our team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
