Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product questions, including product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-presented Conduct basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and pricing adjustments Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus Ability to perform retail math confidently for pricing, discounts, and totals Strong communication skills in both bilingual settings (if applicable) and in person Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers effectively Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive interactions Knowledge of grocery store operations, including inventory management and sales techniques Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels success!
