Job Description
Greet customers and provide friendly customer service. Help customers select beer, wine, and spirits based on their preferences. Operate the cash register and process cash, credit card, and mobile payments. Verify customer IDs to ensure compliance with alcohol sales laws. Restock shelves, coolers, and displays. Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked. Monitor inventory and report low-stock items to management. Receive and unpack deliveries from vendors. Price merchandise and update promotional displays. Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and store policies. Follow all state and local alcohol regulations. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including balancing the cash drawer. Help prevent theft by monitoring the sales floor and reporting suspicious activity. Maintain a safe and professional shopping environment.
