Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer purchases swiftly and correctly Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and confidence Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise Maintain organized checkout areas by stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively Upsell additional items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience Support store operations through stocking shelves, organizing displays, and managing inventory levels Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Supervise or assist in supervising junior team members during shifts as needed Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Previous supervising experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases Strong communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members Basic math skills for handling transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail math calculations Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments preferred Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional communication Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
