Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while accurately processing transactions. Your role is vital in creating a positive shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and engagement. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling. Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
