Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, where your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will create a positive shopping experience for every customer. Whether managing the cash register or assisting with product demos, your proactive approach will contribute to the store's vibrant atmosphere and sales success. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and provide product information or demos when needed Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring merchandise is properly stocked and merchandised Assist with upselling products and promoting store specials to maximize sales opportunities Support stock replenishment efforts by stocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays Uphold excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries remotely Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to serve diverse customers effectively Demonstrated supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail career!
