ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Greet customers when they approach the concession stand Answer questions regarding products and pricing in a friendly manner Accurately record customer's orders in the POS system and collect cash and/or credit card payments Prep and serve food and drinks while wearing proper food prep gloves and changing gloves to avoid cross-contamination Maintain clean work environment while working the concession stand Sweep/mop, take out trash, and practice good hand washing Monitor inventory, keeping the concession stand well-stocked Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Experience in Customer Service High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a Food Handler's License Experience working with a Point-of-Sale (POS) system 2+ years experience in Customer Service Cash handling experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical office Business Hours M-Th 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. F 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. summer M-Th 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 pm Periodic evening and weekend hours during peak periods (e.g., open enrollment, payroll) Occasional travel (less than 10%) Physical Demands Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Must be able to bend, reach overhead, and lift/move up to 25 pounds The person in this position frequently communicates with others verbally and electronically; must be able to exchange accurate information Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus Noisy environment Ability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary Range:

$11.50 per hour
