Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using the POS (Point of Sale) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Provide product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers, encouraging sales and upselling opportunities Maintain well-stocked shelves by stocking merchandise, organizing displays, and merchandising products to attract customer attention Assist in inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and conducting regular stock checks to ensure product availability Deliver exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and maintaining a friendly attitude Support store operations by supervising or assisting fellow team members when needed, especially during busy periods or stock replenishment Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and maintain professional phone etiquette Experience with POS systems and cash register operations for smooth checkout processes Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs more effectively Proven supervising experience or ability to assist in team coordination and training Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and promoting products through demos and merchandising strategies Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments is preferred for understanding store flow and customer expectations Excellent organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness and orderliness This role offers an energetic environment where your enthusiasm can shine!
