Responsibilities Supervise and support team members in their daily tasks, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity. Conduct employee orientation and training programs to foster skill development and enhance team capabilities. Manage scheduling, payroll, and inventory control to optimize store operations. Engage in recruiting efforts, including interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees. Oversee merchandising strategies, pricing, and promotional activities to drive sales growth. Maintain effective communication with staff regarding company policies, procedures, and performance expectations. Implement cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with financial protocols. Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing decisions to meet customer demand. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, sales management, and financial reporting. Experience The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others positively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices. Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
