Manage cash handling duties with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Support upselling efforts by suggesting complementary products and promotions to enhance customer purchases. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including supervising new staff or trainees when necessary. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering responsibilities in a retail or grocery store setting. Strong supervising experience or ability to guide team members during busy shifts. Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts. Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and monolingual contexts to serve diverse customers effectively.
