Back Retail Cashier Light Industrial Layton , Utah temp May 28, 2026 Overview Our Layton location is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our fast-paced retail team. Cashiers play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience by assisting customers at checkout, handling transactions accurately, and supporting the overall flow of the store. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team-oriented retail environment. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service Accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions Maintain an organized and clean checkout area Assist customers with questions regarding merchandise, pricing, and store policies Bag merchandise efficiently and carefully Help manage checkout lines during busy periods Support floor recovery, restocking, and general store cleanliness as needed Follow all company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety guidelines Qualifications Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic math and cash handling abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed Apply Now Share This Post
